Marek & The Boss Chops

The piano and vocals driven boogie woogie, rockabilly, honky tonk and early rock & roll of Marek and the Boss Chops is a unique, high energy performance in the tradition of Fats, Hank, Chuck, Jerry Lee, Muddy and more. 
Initially based in NYC as a resident performer at Times Square's famed
Rum House at the Hotel Edison where he shared the stage with veteran players including Arno Hecht (The Uptown Horns/The Rolling Stones) and Jon Paris (Johnny Winter/Les Paul), Marek has performed the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet on Norwegian Cruise Line under the musical direction of Chuck Mead, worked with Gershwin Entertainment's U.S./Canada Equity National Tour as a stand in Jerry Lee/Johnny Cash, and Music Directed numerous regional productions across the country.  He has also appeared as Johnny Cash in Ring of Fire, Joltin' Jim McCoy (Patsy Cline's pianist) in the Springer Opera House State Theatre of Georgia's National Tour of A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, and as a supporting artist on NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, J. Paul Getty Center, and John F. Kennedy Center Millennium Stage. 

Marek is currently working on new projects in Nashville and is available for live shows and session work.
